1. Haunted Rubber Duck


In 2004 an ebay user from Canada sold his child's rubber duck for $107 claiming that it was possessed. The seller wrote a long story that the duck poured his son's toys in the bathtub and even bit his son.





2. New Zealand



In 2006 a man from Australia put up an ebay Auction to sell New Zealand starting 1 cent. The man had been to New Zealand and hated the weather so decided to sell the country. Surprisingly the bid had reached $3000 but was discovered by ebay and pulled it down.





3. Justin Timberlake's Half Eaten French Toast

Justin Timberlake left behind a French toast at New York Radio station during an interview. A DJ put it up for auction and recieved a winning bid of $1,025 from 19 year old super fan.




4. Illionois Shaped Cornflake


Illionois is a state in the midwestern region of the United States. In 2008 two sisters from this state started an ebay auction for a single Illionois-shaped cornflake. After one week they recieved a bid of $1350 from the guy in the above photo from Texas. He actually sent a man to collect it rather getting it delivered.




5. Guinea Pig Armor


In 2013 an armor for guinea pig got sold for $1,150. The creator of this handmade tiny suit promised that it will keep a guinea pig secure and protected in all situations.




6. Ghost in a Jar



In 2003 An Ebay user started an auction for a ghost in a jar claiming that the ghost inside it had haunted him. He started the bidding at $99 noting that he was not responsible if the ghost escaped or caused any damage.After 7 days the bid reached $55,992.






7. Original Hollywood Sign



In 2000 Dan Bliss started an ebay auction bidding at $300,000 and ended getting highest bid at $4,50,400. He bought the original sign from a night club owner, who had bought it from the Hollywood Chamber of commerce after it was torn down.




8. Forehead Advertisement





Kerry Smith started an ebay auction on ebay for permanent advertisement on her forehead. Golden Palace.com purchased it for $10,000. A Walking billboard!




9. A weekend of Beer and Fun


In 2006 four men from Australia started a auction of weekend of their company. They guranteed that the gathering will consist of Beer, snacks and conversation and consider the winner to be their best mate. The auction ended at $1300 and was won by another local Australian man.




10. Human Kidney







In 1999 when ebay was just 4 years old, a man tried to auction off his own kidney even gave the option to choose which kidney to the highest bidder. However the anti organ trafficing law stopped the auction and ebay took it down. Till then the highest bid had crossed $5.7 million.
